Imarel Coin Codex

Collective of Brookshire

Name: Orin. The Collective voted the name of their currency, in honor of the Spirit of Fortune, himself. This, a tribute to their fortune in having, with relative peace, separated from the Kingdom of Moonfall.
Denominations: Copper, silver, gold and platinum.

NOTE: Since the re-absorbing of the Collective peacefully back into the Kingdom of Moonfall (circa Unification Constitution Treaty of 1362 AC), the Orin is a widely sought collector's coin, but is no longer accepted as valid currency.

Confederacy of Zodasia

Name: Aejoh
Denominations: Jade, sapphire, ruby and diamond (coins are small beads, that can be kept on a chain).

Draconic Empire

Name: None
Denominations: Dragons cannot be bothered to mint their own coin, rathering to collect coins from other peoples and placing the highest value on gold, platinum. and high quality gems and other rarities. In this way, Dragons have a sort of bartering system, that finds economic balance on the worth of what they can horde!

Free Xalayi of Kalimar

Name: None
Denominations: Like the Wild Elves, the Xalayi prefer bartering and trading goods for goods, rather than using coins, though they do appreciate the value of the coins of other races, and will often accept them. Where they differ from the Tallis-Kah, is they often melt said coins down into something pretty, or useful. It should also be mentioned, that the Xalayi of Jas'Rasa, and the colonies of Uranan Svaniq, and Akash all use the same bartering system.

Irys

Name: Vama
Denominations: One gold band, two gold bands, three gold bands, four gold bands. Vama is a small, polished wooden stick, that has bands of gold upon it. The value of the Vama depends on how many thin bands of gold have been placed upon it. Sticks, rather than coins are used, because they are easier for the Zissah to grasp with their clawed hands.

Kingdom of Miroa

Name: Adari
Denominations: Silver, gold, electrum and platinum. While unable to maintain the tradition of manufacturing coins in the Shei way, due to the overall lack of trees in Miroa, King Nilharys still insisted that at least the metals used in such coins would be also used with his kingdom's coins.

Kingdom of Moonfall

Name: Duchets. While no longer a Grand-Duchy, the coins nor their name were changed. Tolliver the Usurper had other coins with his likeness minted, but there are very few in circulation.
Denominations: Copper, silver, gold and platinum.

Kingdom of Vyss

Name: Sildari
Denominations: Silver, electrum, gold and platinum. Each coin is actually sap from a Hirsalas tree, pooled in a coin shape, with either flecks of silver, electrum, gold or platinum heavily interspersed within, then allowed to harden through an alchemical process that makes the coins durable. A process carried over from the original Sivanoshei, that as a matter of tradition, was kept alive by the Tallis-Vyss people.

Republic of Farwind

Name: T'ah
Denominations: Copper, silver, gold and platinum.

Republic of Windsong

Name: Keshra
Denominations: Copper, silver, gold and platinum.

Rith Mal Suna (The Empire of Scales), Vocor

Name: Zosh
Denominations: Orange (unaltered), yellow, red and blue. The Zissah of Vocor use amber from fossilized Calcoa trees, which they then alchemically alter, to give it different hues. Blue of course, being the most difficult to alchemically produce, hence the most valuable.

Sovereignty of Albadosia

Name: Ghozi. Each coin is in the shape of a turtle's shell, from the top view.
Denominations: Copper, silver, gold, and platinum.

Taijun

Name: Taei
Denominations: Iron, silver, gold, and vocorium.

Tallis-Kah Territories

Name: None (bartering system)
Denominations: The Wild Elves will accept foreign coin for their goods, recognizing its value elsewhere, but goods and services are paid for by anything from small, precious stones, to cured meats, to quality beverages.

Xirath Conglomerate of Meluah

Name: Credits
Denominations: Copper, bronze, silver, gold. Upon the defeat of the Benefactor, (who had created a coin called the ‘Bennie,' in honor of himself), the newly freed Xirath quickly realized that their current money was worthless elsewhere, simply for the association with the Benefactor. With this in mind, all ‘Bennies' were melted down, into simple rectangular metal wafers, with the ten thousand toothed gear of the Xirathi people stamped into it (the intricacy of said symbol makes the coins exceedingly hard to counterfeit).
